Employment and Training - Re-Entry Program

The Re-Entry Program is responsible for providing services to White Earth Tribal members pursuing and maintaining employment with Shooting Star Casino. The program recognizes the needs and strengths of the applicant through an assessment that will help identify the appropriate services that can be provided. White Earth Tribal members who have been hired four or more times at Shooting Star must successfully complete the program to become eligible for re-employment with Shooting Star Casino.

The program works collaboratively with the Human Resources office at Shooting Star Casino to increase opportunities for tribal members to gain employment and increase communication. The re-entry program is also responsible for leading and collaborating with departmental teams and managers in performance improvement and transformation projects in order to accomplish measurable business process improvements to meet business needs resulting in retention of the re-entry program.

The Re-entry Program is operated under the auspices of the White Earth Employment and Training Department within the Human Services Division.
