Position: Maintenance Tech Open: 07-28-25
Location: White Earth, Pine Point, Rice Lake Close: 08-08-25
Pay: $18.52/hr Benefits: Full Status: Full Time

The White Earth Reservation Business Committee is currently seeking a qualified applicant who will be responsible for ensuring a safe, clean comfortable environment for the White Earth Reservation Business Committee Facilities.
Position Outcomes:
• Inspect and test machinery in order to diagnose equipment’s operating condition.
• Repair or replace defective equipment and/or parts to ensure proper operation of department equipment.
• Repair heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems to ensure optimum performance of all related equipment.
• Order tools, equipment and supplies through Maintenance Supervisor.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Knowledge of machines and tool, including designs and uses.
• Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective safety operations for the protection of staff and RTC property.
• Knowledge of and ability to follow and apply the policies and procedures of the White Earth Tribal Council.
• Skilled to make adjustments to building equipment to maintain a comfortable work atmosphere.
• Ability to do electrical work.
• Ability to perform routine maintenance on equipment and evaluate what repairs need to be made.
• Ability to work cooperatively within a group to make the work of the group successful and effective.
• Ability to install equipment using wiring diagrams and blueprints to meet equipment specifications.
• Grass mowing and trimming.
• Snow removal.
• Custodial services.
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED
• Must have a valid MN Driver's License and proof of insurance for travel between sites and other business-related destinations.
• Valid boilers license or able to obtain within 1 year of hire.
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening
