Pay: $41.57/DOQ. Benefits: Full Status: Full Time
Position Summary:
The Mental Health Crisis Program Manager will oversee the daily operations of the crisis program. The individual will oversee the goals and objectives of the crisis response grant projects, coordinate crisis intervention and stabilization services, provide consultation services for daytime crisis response, and provide mental health professional services. The position requires managing partnerships, facilitating meetings, ensuring public awareness, providing mental health counseling, conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and overseeing stabilization plans and post-crisis supports provided buy crisis practitioners. The individual will be responsible for coordinating and leading crisis response efforts while monitoring team performance, managing staff training, and ensuring appropriate community outreach actives.
Position Outcomes:
- Coordinate service development, implementation, and evaluation of crisis response services to ensure effectiveness and alignment with the
community’s needs. - Oversee and ensure the crisis response team is fully staffed, trained, and capable of responding to mental health emergencies. Provide ongoing training
to crisis staff to meet the program’s requirements. Ensure crisis team is responding to crisis calls in alignment with community needs and leadership
expectations for effective services. - Ensure grant-related goals are met and work with the grants coordinator to submit timely and accurate statistical and narrative reports. Maintain an in-
depth understanding of the grant requirements to keep the program on track and effectively monitor compliance.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: - Understanding of Tribal customs, health programs, and cultural sensitivity in providing mental health services. Ability to work effectively with diverse
populations and integrate cultural considerations into mental health care. - Skilled in crisis interventions, de-escalation techniques, and managing high-stress situations.
- Ability to make quick decisions in critical moments to ensure the safety and well-being of clients.
Qualifications: - Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or related field required.
- Two years of professional experience in psychology, mental health counseling, or related fields, with specific experience in crisis interventions and team
coordination. - Current professional license in psychology, clinical social work, clinical counseling or marriage and family therapy (for Mental Health Professional).
- One year of experience in budgeting or grant management preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and insurance for travel.
- Ability to pass criminal background check and drug screening.
- Knowledge of traditional healing systems and cultural humility
