Location: White Earth, MN Close: 06/13/2025
Pay: $32.52/DOQ. Benefits: Full Status: Full Time
Position Summary:
This position is responsible for developing, coordinating, and managing services that improve the mental health and well-being of adults within the White Earth Reservation communities. The Adult Mental Health Program Manager works to align program goals with organizational objectives and foster collaboration across divisions to provide holistic and accessible mental health services.
Position Outcomes:
• Responsible for the oversight and direction of administrative programming for the White Earth Mental Health Adult Program.
• Develop and implement the mental health program for adults that address a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and trauma.
• Listen to and respond to visitors, clients, and employee concerns.
• Collaborate with community partners to ensure the success and sustainability of the adult mental health program.
• Provide supervision and support to a team of mental health professionals, case management, and mental health peer support/family support to ensure high quality service delivery.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Knowledge of supervisory principles involved in planning work assignments, resource allocation, and coordination and training of people.
• Knowledge of tribal and county health and social services programs.
• Knowledge of the demographics, culture, customs and geography of the White Earth Reservation.
• Talking to others to convey information effectively, communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience.
• The ability to apply rules and combine information to reach an appropriate conclusion to people and programs.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, social work or related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in mental health services. Experience working with Native Communities, particularly in a mental health setting.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of culturally specific practices
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices in mental health services
• Valid MN driver's license and related destinations.
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
