Overview
The Inventory & Order Fulfillment Technician supports the execution of cannabis wholesale order fulfillment and assists in maintaining compliant inventory controls for all retail-ready cannabis products. This role ensures all products are accurately tracked, stored, and transferred in accordance with internal SOPs and state and tribal regulations (e.g., METRC compliance). The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Fulfill wholesale and interdepartmental cannabis orders accurately and compliantly
Stage cannabis products for transfer in accordance with internal SOPs and regulatory standards
Assist with audits and inventory reconciliation of cannabis SKUs, including support for monthly and ad-hoc METRC audits
Ensure proper storage and rotation of cannabis products (by batch, expiration, etc.)
Report discrepancies in product count, condition, or tracking data to inventory or compliance leads
Collaborate with the METRC team to ensure all data entry and movement logs are up-to-date and accurate
Support interdepartmental functions pertaining to wholesale deliveries
Maintain a clean and compliant workspace according to sanitation and safety standards
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Required Qualifications
Must be eligible for and maintain a valid state-issued agent badge or work permit (as required)
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
1+ year of experience in cannabis, fulfillment, or inventory roles
Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow strict procedures
Able to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods of time
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in a regulated cannabis manufacturing or distribution environment
Knowledge of wholesale workflows and documentation (e.g., manifests, accurately fulfilling orders)
Experience with order preparation or shipping logistics in a production setting
Proficient in using digital inventory systems (e.g., spreadsheets, ERP software)
Familiarity with METRC or other seed-to-sale tracking software
Knowledge and Skills:
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database software; Internet software; Inventory software; Order processing systems; Project Management software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
Knowledge of the principles, practices, procedures, techniques, laws, regulations pertaining to cultivation of medical cannabis and tribal and public policy.
Knowledge of and ability to follow and apply the policies and procedures of the White Earth Medicinal Cannabis Code, White Earth Enterprises, and Waabigwan Mashkiki LLC.
Knowledge of the White Earth Reservation demographics, culture, history, and life ways.
Knowledge of cultivation or agriculture products/supplies.
Knowledge of area climate, weather patterns and challenges.
Knowledge of area business and program locations and towns.
Strong attention to detail.
Strong planning and multi-tasking skills.
Willing to travel for training and work-related tasks.
Certificates/Licenses/Registration/Requirements
Must be twenty-one (21) years or older.
Able to pass background check and drug screening.
Able to maintain strict confidentiality.
Must fully meet the licensing requirements of the White Earth Medical Cannabis Control Board and be licensed to dispense medical cannabis according to the rules and regulations promulgated by the White Earth Medical Cannabis Control Board, in accordance with the White Earth Medicinal Cannabis Code.

Working Environment
This role operates in a secure cannabis production environment. The position involves standing, lifting, scanning, and handling cannabis products in accordance with strict sanitation, safety, and regulatory requirements.
