Location
Home office can be in Moorhead, MN or Mahnomen, MN with travel each week to the Mahnomen office.

Job Summary
This role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial records and delivering meaningful analysis to support business decision-making. This role plays a critical part in the monthly close process, fixed asset tracking, tax compliance, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive in identifying and driving process improvements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Support financial closings, reporting, analysis and account reconciliation
Monthly and year-end closing processes, including journal postings and financial statement generation.
Financial analysis on sales, margins, expenditures, and key organizational metrics.
Monthly general ledger reconciliations for key balance sheet accounts.
Prepare Capital Expenditure Requests, including supporting documentation and financial analysis.
Maintain Fixed Assets, including capitalization, depreciation, and disposition tracking.
Fixed asset inventory
Internal and external audits

Education and Experience
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field (business, logistics, etc.) is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required

Experience:
Previous manufacturing experience is preferred
Three to five years previous experience is required
Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint is required
Experience with Acumatica ERP or similar software preferred

Knowledge and Skills
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have expert knowledge of Microsoft Office software. Previous experience with an accounting software is preferred.

Certificates/Licenses/Registrations/Requirements
Must be twenty-one (21) years or older.
Able to pass background check and drug screening.
Able to maintain strict confidentiality.
Must fully meet the licensing requirements of the White Earth Medical Cannabis Control Board and be licensed to dispense medical cannabis according to the rules and regulations promulgated by the White Earth Medical Cannabis Control Board, in accordance with the White Earth Medicinal Cannabis Code.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
