Job Summary
Waabigwan Mashkiki is seeking a passionate and reliable Metrc Supervisor to join our team! The Metrc supervisor is responsible for overseeing the operational inventory of cannabis and associated products with-in the Metrc seed to sale system. This will consist of ensuring the compliance of product movement with the tribal and state regulations, managing projects, and team development to meet business objectives. The Metrc Supervisor will lead by example, fostering a positive work environment and ensuring that Waabigwan Mashkiki remains a trusted and respected provider of cannabis products.

Duties & Responsibilities
Ensure the operational compliance regarding the movement and tracking of produced/manufactured goods per the local and state regulations via the Metrc compliance system
Manage expectations and timelines regarding daily, weekly, and monthly goals · Ensure the accuracy of cannabis related inventory across the operation and per department
Responsible for providing a high level of education and development for staff pertaining to the track and trace of cannabis as well as the investigation of any and all outliers
Help to develop and refine S.O.P.’s for training guidelines for new members to the team
Work closely with all departments to assure manufacturing accuracy with inventory creation
Fulfill staffing needs and coordinate scheduling
Communicate with and coach team members on a regular basis to ensure the accuracy throughout the facility
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents relating to operations performance, safety, security and technical procedures, and governmental regulations
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
Develop operations plans and implement along with manage policies and procedures
Manage and maintain inventory/compliance management software

Candidate Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred or related experience
Three years of experience in inventory management environment, preferably with the Metrc trace and track systems
Excellent team communication and education skills
Strong interpersonal communication and conflict resolution skills
Passionate about serving the Minnesota cannabis community
Strong math and computer skills

Certificates/Licenses
Must be twenty-one (21) years or older.
Able to pass background check and drug screening.
Able to maintain strict confidentiality.
No felony drug convictions within the previous ten (10) years.
Must fully meet the licensing requirements of the White Earth Medical Cannabis Control Board and be licensed to dispense medical and adult use cannabis according to the rules and regulations promulgated by the White Earth Medical Cannabis Control board, in accordance with the White Earth Medicinal and Adult Use Cannabis Code.
