Pay: $35.83/hr. or DOQ Benefits: Full Status: Full Time
The White Earth Reservation Business Committee is currently seeking a qualified applicant who will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and managing training for Indian Child Welfare staff that improves the knowledge, skills and abilities within the Department. The Training Supervisor will align training with program goals and organizational objectives.
Position Outcomes:
• Responsible for developing, coordinating, and delivering onboarding training for Indian Child Welfare Staff
• Responsible for developing, coordinating, and delivering continuous, ongoing training for Indian Child Welfare Staff
• Develop and implement foster and adoptive parent training
• Develop Training Opportunities
• Maintain Training Records
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Knowledge of supervisory principles involved in resource allocation, and healthy, supportive interactions with employees.
• Knowledge of culturally specific practices
• Knowledge of the Indian Child Welfare Act and Minnesota Indian Family Preservation Act
• Knowledge of tribal programs, customs, and external supports. Emphasis on culturally based programs, processes, and approaches with families. Emphasis on growing worker and customer cultural knowledge base, connections, and approaches.
• Knowledge of the demographics, culture, customs and geography of the

• Knowledge of principles and processes for providing excellent, supportive customer services. This includes needs assessment, meeting ICW quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
• Knowledge of federal laws, Tribal codes, IV-E, federal privacy acts, foster care licensing, ICW policies and procedures and agency rules.
• Ability to manage one's own time and the time of others.
• Ability to convey information effectively, communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience. Ability to communicate and work well with others to support their roles.
• Ability to apply rules and combine information to reach an appropriate conclusion to people and programs.
• Ability to recognize that a problem exists and implement appropriate action to resolve the problem that does no further harm.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology or education and four years of professional experience working in psychology, mental health, education, social work, human resources, or training field
• Must pass background check.
• Must pass drug screen at hire and throughout employment according to the White Earth HR policy.
• Valid MN Driver’s License and insurance for travel between sites and other business-related destinations if mileage is claimed.
